  The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with high-quality facilities and a wonderful farm-to-table breakfast and dinner prepared by the kitchen team. I truly enjoyed my stay, all the staff were helpful and polite. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and wanted to stay away from tourists, I highly recommend this place. You can experience the charm of a traditional Japanese small town while being surrounded by nature.

  Magnificent Getaway

  Staying at La Terra Resort was an absolute dream. The atmosphere, the perfectly curated property, and the delicious meals were all wonderful—but what truly made the experience unforgettable were the people. The team behind the scenes, along with the staff, made us feel so cared for and welcomed. One of the highlights was meeting Roshan, the owner. Learning about his colorful background and how La Terra came to be added such a personal and inspiring layer to our stay. He is a man of many talents, and if you’re lucky enough to meet him during your visit, don’t miss the chance to ask about the antiques on the property—each piece holds so much history and culture. Adding to the charm are the lovely dogs who are very much part of the family at La Terra. Their gentle presence made the property feel even warmer and more like home. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already excited to return. Hopefully one day soon, we’ll also get to experience Roshan’s other properties.

  We wish we had stayed longer.

  La Terra Resort is a unique and beautiful crafted, peaceful boutique hotel that we had a delight to stay at during our outdoors exploration, and trek along parts of the Nakesando Trail. La Terra Resort didn’t disappoint, nestled amongst a beautiful quiet valley setting, tucked under the edge of the forest canopy and surrounded by farmed land, land that served to us our daily meals, with fresh homegrown produce. La Terra Resort’s owner Silva and his fantastic staff, each went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Silva even personally introduced us to local pottery makers and took us to various attractions around the picturesque areas of Shirojiri. We especially enjoyed our short trek (2+ hours) down from the local waterfalls, following the river trail through amazing peaceful nature walks back to the resort. We would love to thank everyone in the team for making us feel so at home, feeding us amazing meals at both breakfast and dinner, from; La Terra’s visionary host and founder; Silva Sharonda (owner), to the fantastic welcoming party and exceptional service hosts of the staff Mogu, Duminda & Dian and chefs. Thank you all for our memorable few days at La Terra Resort. We wish we had stayed longer. Good luck to you all at La Terra with everything you are going to be pursuing in your bright futures.

  この宿泊施設はバラ園に囲まれた、300年前の歴史ある建物を見事に改装しています。部屋の内装は古い雰囲気を感じさせながらも、スマートなライトなどの現代的なアメニティも取り入れられ、ユニークな雰囲気が魅力的でした。 温かいスタッフのおもてなし。 スタッフ全員が本当に優しい方々で、雪の日には傘を持って出迎えてくれました。その心遣いに感動し、滞在中ずっと暖かい気持ちで過ごせました。 愛らしい犬ちゃんの存在。 施設にはとてもかわいらしい犬ちゃんがおり、その存在が滞在をよりほっこりとしたものにしてくれました。特に犬ちゃんと遊ぶ時間は思い出深いものになりました。 特別な食事体験 夕食ではイタリア料理を楽しむことができ、特にイノシシの焼肉は絶品でした。 朝ごはんは和食で、特に自家製のジャムが絶品でした。地元の食材を使った贅沢な朝食は、日本の美味しさを満喫できました。 特別なイベントの演出 宿泊日が彼女の誕生日だったため、事前にケーキのリクエストをしました。スタッフの方々は心を込めてケーキを用意してくれ、彼女も大変喜んでくれました。特別な瞬間を演出してもらえて感激です。

  控えめに言って、最高です

  大雪時に訪れ、トラブルがありましたが、とてもホスピタリティが高く、心穏やかに楽しませていただきました。 何度も訪れたくなる場所です。
