    It was the most unique place we stayed during our whole trip and we loved it. The apartment is literally a photographer's studio and the bed feels like you're in a photoshoot. There was loads of space and lots of interesting photography-related stuff to explore and enjoy. The breakfast and 'honesty fridge' were very welcome as it was pretty much open 24 hours and had everything we needed, including milk, beer and wine. We didn't meet Giuseppe, the owner, in person, but he was fantastic on WhatsApp; we had a problem with the credit card and he was very patient and reassuring (probably because he is a wedding photographer!). The terrace was a lovely spot in which to relax, and the apartment was in easy walking distance of everything we wanted to visit in Lucca.

    The only issue we had was that the lock on the apartment door could be a bit awkward and there was a slightly musty smell in the apartment - otherwise a really great stay!
