Great location, but promises should be honored

The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Florence. The room was nice, and the staff were polite and helpful. When we experienced problems, Simona was apologetic and tried to help us by moving us to another room.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning failed on two consecutive nights while the weather was very hot, significantly affecting our sleep and comfort. The first affected night was refunded. After the same problem occurred again on the second night, the manager apologized, moved us to another room, and explicitly confirmed in writing through Booking.com that the second affected night would also be refunded. However, despite this written commitment and several follow-up messages, the promised second refund has still not been processed, and the property stopped responding to our messages. This was particularly disappointing and made us lose confidence in the property’s willingness to honor its commitments. A promise made to a guest, especially one confirmed in writing, should be honored.
