  Disappointing stay despite a good location and responsive host

  The apartment is well located and has good potentia. The host was responsive when we contacted her about the guest card and quickly arranged a second one once we discovered the initial information was incorrect. We also appreciated her offer of two entries per person to the local swimming pool after we learned that the apartment's pool and sauna were closed for renovation.

  Several issues affected our one-week stay. The pool and sauna were closed for renovation, but this was not stated when we booked and we found out only after payment, when free cancellation had expired. These facilities were a key reason for choosing the apartment. The alternative pool offered by the host was appreciated, but unfortunately we could not use it and it was obviously not equivalent to having a pool in the building. There was also very loud construction noise inside the building in the afternoons. Although the workers respected the official quiet hours, the drilling was so loud that it felt like it was happening inside the apartment, making it impossible to relax on the sofa or terrace after a day of hiking. We were initially told that the guest card was valid for both guests, but after two days we discovered it was valid for only one. The host promptly fixed this, but we had potentially been at risk of a bus fine. Waste disposal instructions were also incomplete: special bags were required but this was not stated, and only one was provided for a week. We also found the kitchen cleaning supplies somewhat insufficient. We were uncomfortable with the CHF 50/hour additional housekeeping fee being mentioned only in the checkout message rather than the property's conditions, with unclear criteria for “excessive” dirt. Finally, we found expired first-aid and pantry items, insects in the dish cupboard, and the latter was dismissed as normal because the apartment is on the ground floor. The bed was very uncomfortable, although subjective, and the living-room lighting was too dim for practical use in the evening. Overall, better communication and greater attention to maintenance and practical details would significantly improve the experience.

  soweit ganz o.k. Freundliche männliche Reinigungskraft

  Frühstück war nicht im Preis inbegriffen - Selbstversorgung

  Sauna und Schwimmbad waren nicht in Betrieb - auf die Sauna konnte man wg. des heißen Wetters gut verzichten - das Schwimmbad wäre angenehm gewesen Reparaturarbeiten für die Wintersaison verursachten erheblichen Lärm

  Una bellissima settimana in famiglia a Laax

  L'appartamento è molto carino e ben arredato, è situato a pochi passi dal bellissimo lago di Laax e alla fermata del bus. Eravamo in 2 adulti e una bambina una settimana e ci siamo stati bene. C'è il necessario per cucinare, una bella terrazza, e un posteggio coperto compreso. È disponibile anche una lavanderia. L'appartamento non è grandissimo ma ci si sta bene, poi a Laax ci sono talmente tante cose da fare che si sta fuori casa tutto il giorno! Marina è stata molto gentile e disponibile, grazie.

  Nella camera ci sono solo le tende ed entra luce al mattino, conviene portare una mascherina per gli occhi.

  We were disappointed has the room did not meet what was advertised before booking it.

  The location was nice, but the view is currently obstructed by a grue.

  The room was announced with private pool and sauna. The pool was not even constructed, they advised us a month prior by message at least, but we already booked / paid and was unable to get a refund. They offered a voucher for a spa, that i received like at 5PM the day after checking in, it was too late. We made other plans at this point of course. The sauna, you have to share it with others and you have to pay with coins. We did not prepare coins... The unit was also advertised with washer / dryer ( The reason why we also booked, was for the pool sauna, and the laundry to wash our clothes before moving to croatia. ) It was not in the unit, and again, have to pay with coins. I know it's common is switzerland, but it should be advertised as such, in the building amenities, not the room amenities. Our previous stay was advertised with it in the unit amenities, and it was in the unit and free. It should be disclosed properly so you can prepare in consequence. It was complicated to finds coins, as we did not had to hold any cash for all the week prior we were there and that banks were closed when we realised... Also, the booking itself was good value, but the cleaning fees ( For one night ) are higher than the stay itself. This stay was to enjoy amenities and clean our clothes before leaving, we were not able to do. I think it's badly advertised, I saw they at least change the pictures to say the pool doesn't exist.

  Appartamento molto carino e ben tenuto, situato molto vicino al lago di Laax, con affaccio sulle montagne.

  Illuminazione, sopratutto dell'angolo cottura, un po' troppo scarsa. Ci sono dei faretti, ma non si possono accendere perché non viene consegnato il telecomando (consiglio di cambiare il tipo di illuminazione se, come mi è stato risposto, il telecomando non viene fornito per paura che venga rotto). Consiglio di prevedere un memorandum, oltre per il check out, anche per la spazzatura, così da evitare agli ospiti di impazzire per capire come funziona (ed evitare "cazziatoni" per strada)
