    Terrible

    This place was pretty rough. Check-in was at 2pm but we couldn’t get ahold of the owner until 5.15pm to give us the key box code. Finally we got in and then couldn’t find the WiFi code. Thankfully we had a travel pass to access data otherwise we would’ve had to go elsewhere to get on WiFi to ask the owner for the code. There were no sheets on the bed — in the first unit, the bottom “sheets” were two duvet covers laying flat. In the second unit, there was nothing, just a mattress protector. We had one less towel than there were people (we had five people between two units and four towels were initially provided). The owner brought over another towel as well as some bedding for the cot, which initially had nothing, around 9pm. The duvets didn’t have covers on them (…the covers were being used as bottom sheets for the first unit). The door at the bottom of the stairs to the outside is locked from the inside and from the outside by key — you need a key to get outside, which is an incredible fire hazard and illegal under Slovenian Technical Guideline TSG-1-001 and EU standards (SIST EN 179 / SIST EN 1125) — emergency exits and escape route doors must always be readily openable from the inside without a key during an emergency. I would definitely not recommend this place.

    Apartment in a great location and with a pleasant sea view

    Great location, pleasant view from the apartment, kitchenette, air conditioning in the room, the host fulfilled our requests, e.g. regarding kitchen equipment.

    I would consider having the kitchen better equipped by default (e.g., a large cutting board, a frying pan, a large knife, salt). Live communication was very good, but communication by booking.com needs a little bit of improvement.
