    Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We booked this lodge specifically because of the hot tub, as it was my birthday and I really wanted to enjoy it with my friends. However, when we arrived, the hot tub was not working at all and we were unable to use it. We contacted the emergency number provided, as reception was only available until 5 pm. Unfortunately, the response we received was very unhelpful. We were repeatedly asked what we expected them to do, and we were told that nobody was available on site to check the problem. No alternative solution or assistance was offered. We understand that technical problems can happen, but the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. We had paid for a stay with a hot tub, and this was a particularly special occasion for me. Sadly, this issue and the lack of support from the staff really affected our experience and ruined an important part of my birthday celebration. The location and views were lovely, but the customer service was very poor.

    A lovely, comfortable stay overall, with just a few minor issues that could easily be improved

    The lodge was lovely, clean and comfortable, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We did have some difficulty gaining access on arrival because there was a competition taking place, and the first member of staff we spoke to was unfortunately not very helpful. However, once another lady arrived, she was exceptionally helpful and sorted everything out

    One of the toilets wasn’t working, although as there were two toilets we managed fine. The bathrooms could also do with some resealing, as water can splash out quite easily with the open shower design. The hot tub was lovely, although it was very hot and some simple instructions on how to reduce the temperature would have been really useful. Overall, a very pleasant

    The location and scenery. Relaxing in the hot tub.

    The beds were two single beds pushed together so there was an annoying gap. Should be double beds for the price. Atleast one bed should have been a double one.
