First of all, you need two codes and a phone call just to get into the place; in all the years I’ve been booking apartments, I’ve never seen anything like it. If you arrive early, you have to pay; if you leave late, you have to pay. Basically, it’s all about the money. There are no curtains, so you stop sleeping at 7 a.m. because it’s too bright. The most unbelievable thing is that you have to pay a security deposit that’s higher than the cost of the room itself. I had to submit a request to Booking to review the apartment within five days, otherwise they would have blocked me from doing so.
