Beautiful, cozy, and comfortable; but too many lights outside
Great location (~2-minute drive to US-101) and right on the beach. The room was very clean, had a small stocked kitchenette, and the bed was fairly comfortable! Enough hot water for two people to shower. The receptionist was also really kind and professional. Plenty of parking, although the spots can be a little awkward to park in and leave.
- The rooms are quite noisy. Walls and floors are thin and you can hear people walking and having conversations around you (good note: there were two pairs of ear plugs by the bed if you can sleep with them in, but I personally cannot sleep with them in, so not helpful for me). - There are many bright lights outside the rooms (which is great for safety), but the curtains are not blackout and let a lot of light in still. The entry door also has a large window in it, and the shades are definitely not enough to block the light either. I need a darker room to sleep in, and although I can tolerate a bit of lighting, with the large window, glass door, and small side window, that was too much light for me to be able to sleep through the night without waking up every hour or so.

Absolutely spectacular location that is not adequately maintained.
The view and soundscape were incredible.
The strong odour of mould. Either wash the carpets regularly, or get rid of them, and just have a couple of strategically placed small area rugs - that are kept clean. Unfortunately, the mould was also in the plumbing, and so I did not drink the water. Fortunately, I had brought enough of my own clean water from San Francisco.
