  It’s not what I expected.

  The accommodation is truly beautiful, and everything looks exactly as it does in the photos. There is no denying how beautiful the house is. Ponta do Sol is stunning, and the house is located in a lovely area.

  Unfortunately, concealing the presence of the water tank and the noise it generates is not acceptable. The tank’s motor is extremely loud and produces a constant humming noise. We could have accepted the sight of the tank itself, but the noise was simply too loud. When we arrived, we specifically asked about it and were told that the noise would stop once the tank was full. Unfortunately, this turned out to be untrue. The tank is constantly being refilled, which means the motor keeps running as well. Due to the noise, we were unable to sleep with the windows open. Since there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, the rooms were constantly hot. The kitchenware is quite worn out, and some new items should be provided. There were also a huge number of ants in the kitchen, crawling all over the countertops. The listing states that there are two bathrooms, but in reality, there is only one full bathroom with a toilet, plus one additional separate toilet. We were three people, so this was not a major issue for us. However, for larger groups, this is inadequate for a house of this size. Unfortunately, the tumble dryer did not work. The beds are extremely small, measuring no more than 140 cm in width. My partner and I (a 55 kg woman and an 85 kg man) could not sleep comfortably together. In our experience, the double beds are only comfortable for one person. The house itself is wonderful, but unfortunately, due to the issues described above, it is not suitable for a relaxing stay or a good night’s sleep.

  Very lovely stay

  The property located in a very quiet and peaceful area so you can get that real, local Madeira experience. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Really beautiful ocean view, you can see it from the first floor and both balconies. Nonetheless, we depicted couple original levadas around the villa so it was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend this place!!

  Great location with an amazing view of the Ocean. House is clean and very modern with nice amenities. Gated parking is also a great feature!

  There was some obstruction of view around the back (can’t avoid it). We did have some ants in the kitchen and got some spray to try and control it.
