    The property was unclean and in poor condition.

    The general location of the property in Twickenham is nice

    We found the flat to be ill-kept, unclean and emitting an unpleasant, stale odour throughout. The property fell far short of basic quality and cleanliness standards expected for a holiday rental. Further issues included: • The property has cheap, mismatching furniture and needs a deep clean. • The flat has a single small bathroom which has quite a lot of flaking paint on the ceiling, probably from a previous leak from the flat above. There was also black mould around the bath at the sealant and the wall tiles. • Interior walls which had damage including large holes and cracks. The walls and window ledges also really need to be painted, especially the interior hall wall. Based on this we decided to obtain alternative accommodation for the two days we had booked at a local hotel.
