    Pleasant stay

    It’s a beautiful big house with plenty of space for a large group.

    There is clearly an ongoing problem with woodlice upstairs, we were having to clear these often. The games room is also outside of the main house, this hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and there was no light, we never used it at all.

    Great location and size, but could be cleaner.

    It was a large spacious home with lots of natural lighting and had a beautiful view. The driveway was nice and big and it was also close by to different places we could visit.

    There was a woodlice infestation which wasn’t nice. That made us uncomfortable to walk around barefoot upstairs. We also had some missing facilities like little hand wash in the bathrooms and we didn’t have a microwave. We did contact the host who then ordered us one which we appreciated but it felt like the house wasn’t checked properly before we arrived. The bathroom doors didn’t have locks which is uncomfortable with both girls and guys living there. The kitchen doors to the outside didn’t lock properly which felt unsafe. Cleanliness could’ve been better - there were dead bugs on furniture and there were some fecal matter on the toilet seat so it wasn’t properly cleaned by the cleaning team chosen. We appreciated the digital booklet but some of the details were out of date e.g. incorrect WiFi password and not enough information on how the bin system worked. I think the hosts didn’t always answer our questions when we had any about the locks or bins but they helped with the microwave.

    Fantastic property in an excellent location, with all the main attractions just a short distance away. The house was incredibly spacious and accommodated our large group comfortably, making our stay very enjoyable. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. We had a wonderful experience overall and would absolutely love to stay here again!
