Lovely large comfortable house in fun corner of Bristol.

This is an absolutely beautiful house, newly refurbished and with huge amounts of space. There is a kitchen extension proving a large kitchen diner, and still enough patio garden at the rear for a entertaining with the barbecue if you wanted to. The through lounge is enormous, as is the main bedroom. There are large TVs in the lounge and the two front bedrooms. High quality white goods. A good selection of basic supplies (tea, coffee, towels etc) There were a couple of niggles (a problem with a lock and the boiler) but the host was very accessible and responsive. The area is a good blend of Bristol Victoriana and multi-cultural hubbub. There are great shops and cafes within walking distance. There is no dedicated parking, but the bays in Dean Lane are mostly pay parking and there are several small carparks nearby. Thoroughly recommend.

A couple of maintenance niggles keep it from a Full House top score, but nothing that caused a problem.

Comfortable stay for 8 party group, with the great facilities to top it off.

It was very big property that comfortably accommodated for 8 people. Furthermore the property itself was fantastic, perfect “holiday” house vibes.

A great base for a family gathering with easy access to a beautiful city.

The location was great for my family gathering together for a family wedding. The kitchen and outside courtyard area were fantastic: we ate outside all the time. The cooking equipment, large oven, lots of cooking utensils great. Folk aged from 16months to 90yrs were in the house and it worked - lots of downstairs spaces to sit/be

With all the good things set up for self-catering, the house lacked serving dishes plus had insufficient plates and bowls - had to keep running the dishwasher or wash lots up) We had a very elderly couple with us: no non-slip mats for the showers was a problem, plus they would have loved a grab rail in the downstairs shower. Need a mirror in downstairs loo (lots of men attempting to wet shave!) + coiuld do with a plug in the sink upstairs, so don't waste water. 2 pillows each would be great.

House was amazing and in a great location for exploring. Warm, comfortable and beautifully finished. Five minutes walk and you're on the docks. If you don't fancy that then there is a great pub two doors down. Even with this, really quiet street. Perfect mix. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you!
