Amazing location on a really long stretch of wild and undeveloped beach. Quite windy and choppy/rough waves and currents which made it a bit dangerous for small children but felt like a really unique, wild adventure! We were a big group and had the property almost all to ourselves which was amazing; the rooms are comfortable, pool and social spaces are great. Well maintained lawns and clean. Daily breakfast was great!
The biggest downside was not having a fully operating kitchen and bar at our disposal throughout the stay, especially because there are no other options within 10 minutes drive. Having to order meals 3 hours in advance was very inconvenient, especially with small kids. This also made it particularly frustrating when the meals weren’t correct/slow/inconsistent. The staff were lovely and super friendly/patient with our unruly group, but they seemed short staffed and the manager of the hotel seems pretty disconnected from the restaurant. Overall that dynamic felt uncomfortable. If the restaurant & bar were fully operational this place would be 10/10!
