    The location was great, and the overall setup of the property was really good. It was well situated for exploring the Lake District and had everything we needed for our stay.

    The property didn’t seem to have been aired before our arrival, and there was a noticeable damp/musty smell. The pillowcases and bed linen also had an unpleasant smell, similar to laundry that has been left in the washing machine for too long after a wash. There were quite a lot of dog hairs on the sofas and floors, and we ended up vacuuming the property ourselves to reduce them. Overall, we felt the property could have been cleaned and aired more thoroughly before our arrival.

    Location was fantastic. Short walk into town and to the park. Well equipped kitchen to allow us to cook our own meals. Beautiful views and scenery. Attentive hosts

    lovely weekend, the weather was good as well

    The location was perfect, just off the A66, a 10 minute walk to the town centre, EV charging was a bonus, very comfortable, will definately be back. the owner was very helpful and good comms.

    I cannot think of anything that we didnt like.
