We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the area.
This was our fourth or fifth stay at Laurel Bank - we really love being here. The house is so comfortable and welcoming with everything we need. We always receive a warm welcome, the breakfasts are fantastic, the views are beautiful, and everyone in the local pub so friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is stunning too, making Laurel Bank the perfect place to stay for walking, driving or riding holidays.
We can’t fault anything.

Very disappointing, Just not my kind of place at all
Location near to village. My partner thought it was OK, but my experience was very different.
3 notices on locked electric gates warning about dogs roaming the grounds! Electric gates with no instructions how to get in (without being mauled by dogs???). Smell of "shake 'n' vac" or similar on carpets, general doggie smell, bland breakfast

A lovely, comfortable stay with excellent facilities, delicious food and a warm welcome. Highly recommended.
Laurel Bank was a wonderful place to stay while walking the Glyndŵr’s Way. Our room was lovely, with excellent facilities, and we really appreciated the delicious two-course dinner, breakfast and packed lunch. Everything was thoughtfully provided and made our stay very comfortable. We would highly recommend Laurel Bank and would happily stay again.
