    I stayed here 10 odd years ago with my husky and the location is great, so I came again with my partner and our 2 dogs. It is one of the few places I could find that allows more then one dog and doesn't discriminate against the size of the dog. It is very peaceful and absolutely 0 bother from anyone which is ideal for me and my dogs. The location is 10/10 perfect. Nothing has really been updated since we came before but it has everything you need and the location and views are stunning. Beautiful walks in the village and the forest park is wonderful. The enclosed garden has a bit of loose wire/fence panels so could use some attention but is secure enough I was comfortable to let my two escape artists off in there. Log fire in the lounge is nice and was all set up ready which was great.

    A few minor issues which if resolved would make it excellent 10/10.... Main being the shower has very weak pressure, I couldn't really use it or wash my hair. Which is weird because the bath/taps are very powerful you can blast yourself with them if you aren't careful (which I frequently did as one tap is on the opposite way to what I'm used to!) The bed is quite hard but I like a firm mattress so slept fine but maybe could use a topper. There is a street light outside the bedroom window and no blind or black out curtains, so it was very light in there. We resolved this by hanging a blanket over the window otherwise it would've been way too light to sleep. My partner was a bit sad as the listing said BBQ which he was looking forward to using but there wasn't one.

    Everything, house itself was lovely, cosy and homely and the location was breathtakingly stunning
