    Wunderschöne Ästhetik, tolle Strandlage und ein sehr bemühter Romain sowie eine großartige Haushälterin, aber leider überwiegen die massiven Mängel deutlich.

    Wegen einer defekten Klimaanlage war es viel zu heiß zum Schlafen und durch die extreme Feuchtigkeit roch es im gesamten Haus unerträglich modrig. Überall gab es Schimmel und dunkle Flecken, was unsere Kleidung so stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen hat, dass wir sie im nächsten Hotel komplett waschen lassen mussten. Selbst nach zwei Wochen riechen unsere Rucksäcke und Trinkflaschen immer noch danach. Als ständige Ausrede mussten wir uns anhören, das Stromnetz sei schuld, seltsam nur, dass in allen anderen Gebäuden und Hotels in Hiriketiya und ganz Sri Lanka die Klimaanlagen einwandfrei liefen. Hinzu kommt, dass man bei Regen durch eine riesige Matschpfütze laufen muss, um das Haus zu erreichen (man muss durchlaufen, weil sie durch den Regen so groß wird.) Wegen der unerträglichen Hitze, des modrigen Geruchs und der gesundheitlichen Gefährdung durch den Schimmel können wir dieses an sich hübsche Haus leider absolut nicht empfehlen.

    Vibey little cottage!

    Such a lovely vibe in a slightly more quiet area.

    The bed could have been slightly more comfy but that was it!
