    Schönes Zimmer, doch mit Schimmel und schwachem Wifi

    - Geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtetes Zimmer (wie auf den Fotos) - Sehr gute Lage an einer ruhigen Gasse in der Altstadt - Geräumiges Zimmer (aber sehr kleines Badezimmer)

    - Im Badezimmer und im Treppenhaus hat es Schimmel an den Wänden (inkl. entsprechender Duft) - Das Wifi war instabil und oft nicht verfügbar - Geringhöriges Zimmer gegen das Treppenhaus - Überteuert - Zu viele (und deshalb unübersichtliche) Informationen vor der Ankunft

    The location is excellent: right in the old town, but close to the border with the newer part of the city, which makes it very convenient. The railway station is less than a 15-minute walk away, and the nearest beaches, Porto Bianco and Porto Rosso, are also about 15 minutes on foot (the main town beach Spiaggia Cala Porta Vecchia was still undergoing renovation during our visit). Check-in and check-out were smooth, communication with the hosts was good, and we were welcomed in person and shown around the apartment. The absolute highlight is the rooftop terrace. It offers nice views and is a lovely place to relax. The apartment also had a coffee machine, kettle, wine glasses and a spacious fridge. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and getting up in the morning was harder than expected! Overall, the accommodation met our expectations and is a very good option in its category. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Monopoli.

    The floors were not properly clean when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. Another thing to be aware of is that the building is located in a courtyard shared with local residents. One of the residents sells fruit and uses the courtyard for his daily business. He leaves by car at around 4 a.m. and returns later, and the noise is clearly audible. More generally, the courtyard starts coming to life at around 7 a.m., so if you're a light sleeper, earplugs are definitely recommended. The kitchen facilities were also a little limited for anyone planning to have a picnic on the rooftop terrace. Although there was a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, we would have appreciated some plates, cutlery and paper towels. If you're planning to eat on the terrace, it's worth bringing or buying these essentials in advance.

    Wonderful, beautiful and very good fun.

    Property was beautiful, location was perfect, all communication with staff was brilliant, would recommend to anyone coming to Monopoli!

    The pillows on the beds were slightly hard but I know that’s personal preference.
