    Beautiful old stone house inside the ramparts

    We were just 2 people. Fabulous house in the old ramparts. We loved the location and sitting in the beautiful garden. Our bedroom had views right over the ramparts and across the countryside. It's stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed including a large fridge freezer. We enjoyed the walk around the ramparts and strolling the streets. We also walked down through the parks and along the river. It's beautiful. We caught the airport bus back from just outside the main entrance (to the right). The bus stop had an airplane sign on it. Ask at the tourist information within the ramparts for the bus times.

    Don't follow Google maps to walk from the station to the house. 1) it's a very long walk 2) it takes you up to a rampart gate near the house which is up a very steep, rough, stone chipping covered, deeply cracked mud walkway. It's very, very difficult to walk on with bags. Get a taxi to the main entrance and walk through the old city. We went when it was stiflingly hot and there is no aircon. The fans helped a little. The only foodstuffs you can buy within the walls are pastries and bread. You can't buy butter or milk or jam or anything else. You have to eat out for every meal or walk into town. The downstairs living space would be a challenge if all 3 bedrooms were occupied although you can enjoy the seating outside.

    L'emplacement et la propreté des lieu. Belle maison propre avec tous les comodités a l'entrée du chateau ce qui nous a permis de le vivre de jour et du soir. C'était magique. Des bons resto a proximité. La petit terrase de la maison magnifique. Nous avons tout simplement adorer! 100% recommandable!

    Great location but can be noisy.

    Was inside the city wall. Great outside courtyard. Very good to have a washing machine.

    Local restaurants empty bottles into bins outside the house in the early hours and the cobblestone streets are cleaned. Noise from nearby streets .

    Very clean ,comfortable property all is there ,each rooom has a washroom and shower super nice garden in the cassle very friendly and caring hosts Marie and her husband Seegio very happy with my stay highly recommend
