  Buffet breakfast was same everyday. I didnt like it. We forced to eat same thing for the whole duration.

  Nice views but very poor service which makes the experience very disappointing

  The view is nice. The room we stayed at was big and comfortable but the bathroom was not clean and had a bad odour.

  Far from a five-star experience The hotel advertises itself as a five-star property, but unfortunately, the service we experienced was below even a good three-star standard. The restaurant service was particularly disappointing. The food was always cold and of bad quality. The restaurant is like a canteen. Several waiters simply stood around while guests were left without basic items such as cutlery. When we asked for assistance, the staff appeared unwilling to help and just pointed at the cutlery and asked us to get it. The staff lacks training. They just stand around and stared at us making us quite uncomfortable. Basic hospitality should not require repeated requests—especially at a hotel claiming five-star standards. The hotel was also extremely stingy with basic room supplies, including towels. There were three people staying in our room, but only two towels were provided. We informed reception three times and requested an additional towel, but every request was ignored. By the end of our stay, we had still never received a third towel. We also requested mosquito-repellent liquid twice, but this was never provided either. The repeated failure to deal with such simple requests shows a serious lack of attention and care. It was also quite boring. They do not offer any activities except for a 7am walk. Maybe a high-tea or some cultural programs would be great considering the property is quite secluded and far away from Munnar town. While the property itself may look impressive, a five-star rating must also be reflected in attentive, professional and helpful service. Based on our stay, there is a considerable gap between the hotel’s advertised standard and the experience it actually provides. It’s sad because the hotel has so much potential but the staff really needs basic training.
