A very comfortable stay near the old town.
Property in a good location for visiting the old town and within easy reach of restaurants. The host was very helpful with information about the area. Our room was very comfortable with all we needed. Breakfast was served to table with a range of local products available. Car parking in public park nearby.

Cutely decorated boutique hotel, part classy rustic, part kitsch, very cozy. Tatiana, a Byelorussian immigrant and former language teacher who is fluent in Italian, French, English, Russian and obviously her native tongue, acts as receptionist, cashier and breakfast chef, and is a very friendly and pleasant, well-educated lady. She was a real asset to our stay, very knowledgeable about local attractions and events. Breakfast is plentyful, the first day we had an added veggie tart, the second a torta della nonna like in Tuscany.
All five rooms have windows on the street below. We had room no. 24 (apparently the biggest according to the fire escape floor plan in our room) and the street lamp shines all night right into the room even with the curtain drawn. Blinds or shutters would have been appreciated. If you sleep with an open window, light sleepers do well to use earplugs because though the street is open to local traffic only, without them you'll hear people chatting and cars passing. Also, the many light switches are initially a bit confusing until we figured out which switch corresponds to which light. The property has three underground parkings about 10' away (EUR 5.00/night currently) which means you'll need to carry your luggage to and from the hotel.
