    Friendly host, beautiful apartment, but bathroom can flood and cause you a big uncovenience in the middle of your dream

    The host is friendly and helpful, apartment is renewed and great, BUT there was an incident in that made our stay be uncomfortable and frustrating. One afternoon we came back and the whole apartment was under water, there seemed to be a leaking or something in the bathroom, it came from the sewage of the shower so it was dirty. Not fully flush/black water luckily but dirty and wet. The host immediately took action, a cleaning person came and the problem got solved - but that costed us an evening of having to stay outside the apartment and not able to rest until 21h (we left at 18h), and we came into a house full on cleaning products smell. Even with windows open and airco on, I had headache and throat congestion due to the strong cleaning smell. I’ll think twice after booking a home again instead of a hotel, because she probably did her best but we deserved another room/place to go at that evening, not having that, we had one very bad evening and night in the apartment. At least a refund for one night would be a decent courtesy for the hassle.

    The situation we faced with the bathroom. For the rest it was lovely.
