Knew what to expect and we were not let down
Stayed here before so knew what to expect. Large room, clean and tidy. Large comfortable bed. Good shower and decent wifi. Pet friendly as well so our 2 dogs had a good time as well and enjoyed the good sized grounds for walkies. Close to the river which had a good tarmac path to walk on We had bar meals for dinner which were a decent size and well cooked. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and plentiful with good choices We will return
Minor thing arrived 30 minutes early and they were looking for 15,10 or 5 pounds depending on how early arrivals were so we went for a pint instead and waited until 3 to check in. Also when we went back to reception no one was there, rung the bell on 3 or 4 occasions and no one came. Had to go back to the bar to get someone to look for the receptionist, very unprofessional

Staff are vey friendly but the building is need of some TLC
Breakfast was good and staff were very helpfull
The fabric of yhe building is in need of attention. The roof space was open to the elements and wildlife. In the morning we could hear birds above our bedroom ceiling

Great room, lovely peaceful location. Need to improve breakfast.
when we arrived we had been upgraded to a bigger room. The room was lovely, old fashioned but you can see that from the photos and was lovely. Room was very hot.
The service at breakfast was the only let down about our stay. Took over an hour. They were understaffed and busy. The food when it arrived you could tell it was sitting under the hot plate as the scrambled eggs had gone hard on the top.
