    Lovely design of the room! Bed was extremely comfortable

    The bed should have had a comforter.

    I love Les Artistes, and I will go back again and again. Next time I’ll book my favorite room.

    The location is the best in the world. Right on Camino Del Mar with a view of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms are beautiful, and kind of funky and old and a little bit falling apart. Parking is a breeze, the people are nice, and they put out coffee and fruit in the morning and invite their guests into the common spaces. For me, it’s a very easy and comforting place to stay if you don’t mind a bit of gentle dilapidation. I’ve stayed here eight or 10 times and I love it.

    Probably my attitude. California is in the middle of an aberrant October heat wave, and the room faces due west and it was hot. Obviously this is beyond anyone’s control.

    The only good thing was being close to my class's and a partial view of the ocean.

    The whole experience including the staff attitude, even basic facilities such AC, bed, lights, etc were below standard.
