  Super comfortable and relax, peacefull environnement. Owner is very respectful and responds very quickly. If you're looking for a place to just be away from everything and just chill then i highly recommend it!!

  On the way there there are dirt roads so you just have to be safe that's all.

  Nice location, but the "Two-Bedroom Chalet" is actually two split cabins

  The setting is nice and does feel isolated, the grounds are large and quiet, and the lake and hot tubs are nice. Communication was quick.

  The listing sells this as one large chalet. The accommodation type is titled "Two-Bedroom Chalet" and lists Bedroom 1 with 2 double beds, Bedroom 2 with 2 double beds, and 2 sofa beds in the living room. In reality it is two separate cabins, and the description combines the two into one set of numbers. We found this out on arrival, when we walked into one room with two beds and had to message the host from the driveway to ask which building was even ours. Only then were we told there were two cabins and we had access to both. Nothing in the listing says two cabins. The best photos are of the nicer of the two. We booked specifically so our group could be under one roof, and that was the whole reason we chose this place over others, so it was a real letdown. When we raised the layout issue afterwards, the host's position was that it had been clearly indicated. It wasn't, and there was no apology at any point.

  Les lits étaient confortables et l'endroit était calme

  Très mal indiqué pour trouver le logement, il faut vraiment avancer beaucoup sur le chemin pour finalement être sûr d'être au bon endroit (les 15/20 dernières minutes sont sur un chemin de gravel et sans aucun réseau). Le chalet n'a pas non plus de numéro à côté de la porte et ayant loué d'autres chalets pendant nos vacances, nous n'étions vraiment pas sûrs. Les photos ne sont pas représentatives, la plupart des meubles sont maintenant dans l'espace salon, c'est donc extrêmement encombré et difficile de circuler. Les escaliers sont très dangereux car glissants. Et finalement, payer 400$ pour le ménage (soit la moitié du montant final dans notre cas pour 1 nuit) alors que nous avons trouvé des cheveux dans le lavabo et la baignoire, du savon en barre étalé sur la colonne de douche et des serviettes trouées et tachées (trous et taches vraiment très notables), nous avons été très déçus. Aussi, l'eau de la douche à l'étage ne s'évacuait pas du tout. Ah et nous confirmons l'information de l'hôte: beaucoup de moustiques! Le chasse-moustique n'a pas aidé malheureusement pour notre moment dans le spa. Au moins l'hôte était sympathique et s'est excusé pour les serviettes.

  Nice & quiet place in the deep woods

  Nice cottage with great views of the forest surrounding it. Perfect for a couple, to enjoy a quiet weekend, etc. The kitchenette is well equipped and so are the bathrooms. The wi-fi worked great and so did the TV.

  There was a confusion regarding the bedrooms in the cottage - we wanted cottage with two bedrooms and it seemed that was what we booked. However, there was only 1 bedroom in the cottage. As we arrived ~10PM we could not reach the owner that night to clarify this (likely it was late for him). Hence, we decided to utilize the living room couch as the 2nd bedroom. By the morning the owner advised us that we were to use 2 cottages, each with one bedroom (that way we would end up with 2 bedrooms). Unfortunately, this was not apparent/clear from the booking process. The other inconvenience was the access to the Wilson lake across the road - we could not find the access point and there were no instructions on how to get there, despite the lake being prominently shown in the photos on the booking.com website. Both of the above are communication issues that could/should be easily addressed.
