    Disappointing stay, apartment in much need of some TLC

    Central location, walkable to all pubs, restaurants and the loch. Easy to find, free parking and very quiet.

    This apartment has the potential to be an excellent place but is in much need of some TLC. There is a very distinct smell of damp in the downstairs hall which was also noticeable in the top hall, kitchen and livingroom. In the kitchen there is black mould round the hob sealant, strange yellow stains on the panel below the oven and the kitchen tiles need a good clean. In the bathroom the door seals on the shower cabinet have gone yellow and need to be cleaned or replaced, mould on various parts of the cabinet/door. There was mould and a sticky substance at the top of the bathroom window and the blind was awful, covered in black mould. In the livingroom the window is no longer fitted to its surround. In the entrance hall there are scrapes and dings all the way up the very steep staircase and the paint doesn't go all the way to the roof. The pictures on the listing must be very old. We have attached pics for reference.

    Logement très confortable et très bien équipé, calme et à proximité du petit port de Balloch.

    c'est un logement typique dans une petite copropriété, très calme. Il est très bien équipé et très confortable. Les propriétaires ont fait un book avec les attractions et les restaurants locaux ce qui est très appréciable.

    Alan was very responsive and helpful. The apartment has everything we needed and more. It was comfortable and the need was very nice, he had thought of everything for a comfortable stay

    It was a bit tricky to find in the dark because we ended up not getting there until 1am
