    Loved it! Even saw aurora overhead.

    Excellent quality accommodation - private sauna and private hot tub, although the hot tub can be seen from other Igloos. The bed was super comfortable, even the sofa bed downstairs was very comfortable. Igloo is a perfect size for a couple, with or without a couple of small children. Everything feels quality and well put together. We actually stayed in 14D rather than 8C as there was a problem with the hot tub in 8C which we were notified about before we arrived. The igloo is one of about 20 identical units on one side of the road, with the Levi Nordic Star Igloos on the other side of the road. We were able to clearly see the aurora from the igloo, including from the bed upstairs. The end of the short access road is also a great spot to view aurora - no need to go the the various recommended spots. Even without aurora it is spectacular to look up at the stars whilst in bed. The igloos are a little bit away from the town of Levy, further along the access road past South Point of the ski resort - but you need to be away from the city/town lights to see aurora. There are supermarkets and restaurants in Levi and Kittila - which are both 10-15 minutes away. There are reindeer in the woods around the property. We saw them most days as we drove in and out, we also saw an arctic hare hop past our window.

    The only complaint, although not really a complaint is how low the roof is upstairs. When lying in bed, you can reach up and touch the glass roof, the bed is really really high (although supremely comfortable), if the bed was a normal height, there would be much more space to sit up etc. You also have to stoop/bend a little when moving around upstairs. Also there is a lack of hanging space upstairs - again, a minor issue.

    If you want to relax and feel close to nature this is where I would tell you to go.

    We loved how close to nature we felt. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked had we chose to cook. The private sauna was very nice. We also liked that it was not far from town.
