    Check in was supposed to be at 3 and we were not allowed in our room until almost 6 pm.

    Ritz pricing/Days Inn experience

    The location next to the lift bridge in Canal Park is great.

    Because of it's location this hotel is ridiculously expensive for what you get, it's about the equivalent of a Holiday or Days Inn with Ritz Carlton pricing. For the rate they charge, outside of the location, I expected far more. Breakfast was continental with pre-packaged pastries, microwaved eggs, etc. very disappointing. Towels and bedding were "well worn/scratchy" again, Days Inn equivalent. I have traveled to Duluth quite a bit and hotel pricing for that area continues to rise without a rise in quality.

    We already have plans yo stay again next year but need to wait to book… I was told we can only book 8 months out.

    We liked the view/location! Breakfast was good. Very nice work out facilities and clean pool/hot tube with towels!!

    Wish there was on site restaurant but found close alternatives.
