  Would definitely stay again, probably longer!

  We have always stayed at another place in Rockport; however, this was a place I had always wanted to stay in. It didn’t disappoint. We were comparing the other place to it, and they are a lot alike but there are a few differences that make it a little bit better. First, they have a water filtration refill station! This was awesome as we are 90% water drinkers! Very cost effective for us! Breakfast is included and it was very good. There’s a library there as well as a small gym. Then there’s also an area with snacks, drinks, last minute items and even a few souvenirs. They recently got some I guess they’re gambling machines. They looked fun but we didn’t play. They also have a bar there and the drink menu looked awesome. I’ll definitely try some of those next time. The pier was very accessible, clean and safe. Was one of our favorite parts. Dillon was absolutely amazing!!!! He checked us in and was also someone we saw the following night for some needs, snacks and pillows. He was ever attentive, helpful, fast and all around an excellent addition to the trip.

  The only things I’d say that wasn’t well received was the hotel was at full occupancy and they couldn’t stay on top of breakfast the morning we ate there. An employee stated that the following day they had to throw a lot out so she wasn’t making a lot at a time but regretted doing so since they couldn’t keep up. We had to wait on eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffle batter, juice cups, coffee and coffee fixings. It was frustrating but not a big enough issue that we wouldn’t be back. The other issue we encountered was the day after we checked in, we were coming back and inquired at the front desk how to get to the pool. The woman; who I later found out her name was Kaycee, very rudely answered me but then rudely asked if we were even staying there. I was very caught off guard by not only how she spoke to us but also the inquiry. From someone that’s worked in customer service for 26 years, that’s not how you speak to a customer nor how you approach them with a concern.

  wonderful

  nothing can possibly ruin our stay at the Lighthouse. Breakfast wasn't all that but we didn't mind. This place is one of our favorites.

  carpet in the water side suite was a little dingy. Vinyl plank flooring would be perfect considering the elements.
