    Proper Farmhouse B&B

    lovely countryside location. welcoming and friendly hosts. This is a farmhouse and therefore is not a modern property and the accommodation reflects this, it is clean and well maintained but do not expect modern showers and bathroom facilities, they reflect the age and style of the property. However the hosts supply some wonderful touches with scones and homemade biscuits as well as fresh milk and excellent tray selection for tea/coffee making in the morning. At breakfast there was an excellent selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc as well as the cooked breakfast.

    Some items on the cooked breakfast were a little over greasy for our liking and quality of some ingredients did not match other elements of the stay.

    Een aanrader voor rustzoekers

    Lilly Hill Farm is uitermate landelijk en zeer rustig gelegen. De kamer was 'cosy', maar ruim. Het uitzicht is geweldig, net als de gastvrouw. Het bed is prima. Alles is 'old-school' maar voor ons prima

    Karen was so accommodating, breakfast excellent and lovely homemade scones in room on arrival.

    Ideally situated for sight seeing surrounding area.
