  Small studio, very clean with everything you need.

  Reading the reviews before making the booking, I found out some were strongly positive, some strongly negative. I guess it has to do with the temperament of the owner, which some people may not appreciate. He is very direct and doesn't like stepping on his toes. Don't get me wrong, Efstathios is a great guy, which explains a lot and in detail if you have a concern. So, reading all the reviews, when we got there, the studio has exceeded my expectations. - We arrived late in the night, 11 PM but Efstathios was available on the phone. The key can be retrieved from a box outside of the studio. - The studio is very small, but has everything you need: a lot of storage spaces, electric kettle and oven, microwave oven, utensils, pots. The washing machine was new. - Extremely clean. - The shower is NOT leaking on the bathroom floor. - It has it's own private parking place, right outside the studio window. Friday night and in the weekends there are a lot of people coming by car to the nearby tavern and it's possible you find the place taken, but there are plenty of other free parking places. - Very big supermarket (Masoutis) right near the building, 1 minute walking. - Fishermen's port right nearby, with a lot of taverns. - Last but not least, very low price compared to others, which makes the ratio quality/price even more attractive. We would definitely stay again at Efstathios' studio if we are to visit Kavala in the future.

  - Be careful not to lock yourself out of the room, closing the door with the key inside. Otherwise you have to contact the owner to come with the second key and open the door. He lives in the same building, but he might not be at home. We locked ourselves out immediately after arrival, late in the night 11.30 PM, but he came and saved us. - We slept on the open sofa and our child slept on the bed. It was a very hot July weather, 36-38 degrees and we had to use the air conditioning which was right above the bed. The remote has a Sleep mode and another setting I don't remember now, that can be used to turn the A/C to a very low air flow, so that you wouldn't freeze beneath it. The air flow was anyhow directed to the entrance door, not directly on the sofa, but still I had to turn it on and off throughout the night 2-3 times. It was not a big inconvenience for me. - There was a not so pleasant smell in the bathroom, but not too strong, manageable. - You can walk to Periagli Beach, but it's 10 minutes to the better zone with more sand and it's not the best beach you can find in Greece. I recommend taking the car to other beaches to the south west, near Nea Iraklitsa and Nea Peramos.

  Gazda foarte amabilă.Locație excelentă, loc de parcare, o mica terasă , 50 metri de port si taverne, supermarket lângă clădire, plaja la 15 minute de mers pe jos. Apartament cu tot ce ai nevoie pentru un sejur plăcut. Revenim cu drag

  Доволни сме от престоя си,бихме посетили отново

  Местоположението беше добре.

  Единствената ми забележка е,че нямаше кафемашина,както е споменато в Букинг. Но разбира се,това не е основен проблем.
