A fantastic alternative to hotel accommodation when on business!
What a little gem of a find! We were in Lincoln for work and simply couldn't get a hotel room due to the NATO exercise so we found this floating cabin. Will absolutely stay again! The owners were super accessible and helpful by phone, the unit was compact but perfect for two with good quality fixtures and fittings and crisp linens. There was a generous Welcome Basket and it was a shame to have to go to work everyday; I could have cheerfully sat on the deck and watching the ducks and waterlilies. Plenty of options for dinner within walking distance and a lovely peaceful environment.

I would go for scenery its to die for.
The location is fantastic: a floating lodge in a beautiful marina. What more could you want? A great indian resturant within an easy walk, a bus stop on site to take us into Lincoln, and of course, Lincoln itself. The castle I would give a miss; very expensive and, in reality, not a castle, just a wall. You pay the fee to see the old prison; I thought I was paying to see a castle. But a beautiful city
Sorry guys, but that bed killed me. You roll into the middle, very unsatisfactory 4 days later, and I am still trying to get my back right. Also, the sofa- the sofa is terrible, really uncomfortable.
