Spa and the quiet location walking distance from town. The green view with big trees and squirrels was lovely.
People had their drinks glasses all round the spa and the staff were coming in and out with trays and weren't telling them not to do this, or taking them away. This didn't seem safe. If anyone had broken a glass it would be dangerous and the whole pool area would have to be drained - it seemed an unnecessary risk to take for the users and the hotel. The staff were nice, but after the accident one of us had with a heavy door (no one's fault) and having to go straight from the hotel to A&E, it would have been nice to have had a follow up email as a personal, concerned touch and would make me feel more inclined to stay again.

Pleasently surprised
Great spa facilities and we got one of the newer rooms which was nicely done.
Common areas and externally needs some love but you can tell they have been trying to improve the facilities with the spa, etc!

A very enjoyable stay in a superb hotel with lovely staff.
The property looked very smart & it was in easy walking distance to the marina. Our room was comfortable & clean. The restaurant where we had breakfast was lovely & I especially liked how we ordered our main part of the breakfast from a menu rather than self service. The fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, croissants & beverages were self service which I liked. We will definitely stay at The Lincombe Hall Hotel again but next time I want to try the luxurious indoor pool as well.
