Breakfast and staff were great! We ended up paying for an upgrade to a suite and that room was large and comfortable. The bed was also quite comfortable. Secure parking garage helped us feel safe leaving our car for the days we were there. Also, the daily parking cost is only 27euros when you are a hotel guest which was a nice surprise since this listing states 40euros per day!
The hotel has not been renovated since it opened 25 years ago. They have just started renovations but will take time to improve everything. As a result, the condition of the hallways and our original room were terrible. Dirty carpets, old tile flooring in the bathroom, no wardrobe. Felt like a 2-star hotel at the price of a 4-star. Thankfully we were offered to upgrade to a suite (at a cost of course) which was a lot better. However, I would not book this hotel again until the renovations are finished.

Falls ich wieder mal nach Köln komme, werde ich wieder hier logieren.
Das Frühstück war richtig OPULENT! Ich war schon in vielen Hotels - aber was die Qualität und das Angebot betrifft, ist das Lindner Hotel an der Spitze!! Ebenso war das Zimmer schön und sauber, das Bett genauso wie ich es mag, nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Bad und WC top. Alles wunderbar.
Der Kuschel-Dom der zum Verkauf auf dem Bett lag - grauenhafter Quatsch. Sorry, aber jemand der das mag, leidet echt an Geschmacksverirrung.. :-) Sonst gibt es absolut nix zu mäkeln. Und der Kuschel-Dom hat mir den Aufenthalt in keiner Weise verdorben. Ich finde sowas einfach nicht lustig.
