Een sublieme accomodatie
Om te beginnen is Lindos zowat de mooiste locatie op het eiland: een gezellig stadje boordevol restaurants en winkeltjes, aan een prachtige baai die op elk moment van de dag zijn charme heeft. Binnen Lindos is Aktaia Villa het summum van een zelfstandig verblijf met alle comfort van thuis. Door de typische bouwstijl (een binnenplaats met keitjesvloer in motief, met 3 aparte ruimtes die hierop uitgeven) waan je je vanaf de eerste seconde in de mediterraanse sfeer. 's Avonds komen zwaluwen of een verdwaalde poes je vergezellen op het terrasje. Op de binnenplaats staat een vaste stenen tafel waaraan je buiten kunt zitten, ook op de warmere momenten, want er is zeiltje gespannen voor schaduw. De 3 aparte ruimtes die uitgeven op de binnenplaats zijn 2 slaapkamers met dubbel bed en allebei eigen sanitair, en 1 keuken met eetruimte en een zitbank voor wie tv wil kijken of gewoon even bekomen na een warme dag aan het strand. De slaapkamers hebben een raam aan elke kant: een raam dat uitkijkt op de prachtige baai, en een raam dat uitkijkt op de binnenplaats. Alle ramen kunnen afgesloten worden met luiken. Je hebt geen last van straatlawaai, dat is één van de vele sterke punten van de villa. In de keuken is alles aanwezig om zelf te koken, er is werkelijk niets waar Jenny niet aan gedacht heeft. Behalve de inductie kookplaat en de oven, zijn er ook een microgolf-oven, een broodrooster, een waterkoker, een Nespresso machine, een gewone koffiemachine, een croque monsieur toestel... Alle toestellen zijn van hoogwaardige kwaliteit (Philips, Samsung...) Er is een grote koelkast, en een vriesgedeelte met 3 lades. Bij aankomst zitten er water, fruitsap, melk, een fles wijn in de frigo, en grote zakken ijsblokken in de diepvriezer. Er liggen porties confituur, honing en boter klaar, met toastbrood, en wat snacks. Jenny is op elk moment bereikbaar een zeer behulpzaam.
