  It was lovely

  It was just as it was in the photos. The terrace was lovely to have breakfast and to relax on at the end of the day. The towels were lovely. The aircon was really good. Very short walk to the sea(st Paul’s). Max walk was to the end of Lindos beach . 10/15 mins max.. very close to everything . Really enjoyed it.

  Nothing. Only suggestion is some dish cloths/tea towels to dry the dishes and to clean everything down.

  We’d come back here to stay in Lindos

  We stayed in Calypso suite and were really happy about it. First, you need to leave your car at parking spots outside the city yet Calmare is very well located and very easy to walk even with luggage. This is an issue as there were many places in Lindos fortunately we didn’t book, it would be a hard transport from car to the room. It is also very close to all good restaurants and bars, yet doesn’t get affected by cooking smells or loud music. We had a terrace which we enjoyed a lot. The house itself is very modern and cool, we liked the high ceilings and the furniture. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, we had really good sleep. Our host gave us all the information we needed beforehand and had a very hands off approach which I enjoyed as it felt that the house really belonged to us.

  It isn’t very important to us but could mean something to some people: There is one bathroom and it is downstairs while the room is upstairs. We didn’t mind as we knew it was a loft, but some might get uncomfortable during the night.

  Rocky start but overall a good stay in a great location.

  The location is perfect. The bed is comfortable. There were enough towels and soap etc provided.

  When we arrived at 16.20 (not even early check in) the property was dirty from the last occupants. It is a late check in time as it is and to arrive to an apartment which has not been cleaned at all (dirty sheets, cutlery, towels) is not good. The owners response was to apologise and say “these things happen”. We were offered late check out as compensation but I had already booked the apartment for longer to accommodate our late check out and so that did not compensate us. When you look forward to your holiday and travel to a location, the last thing you want is to arrive to a dirty apartment. Other than that, another mirror for getting ready would be helpful. There are generally no other complaints- the location was great and when it had been cleaned, it was done to a good standard. The view was exceptional.
