  A little different than in the photos

  On the one hand, the location is very good, because apartment is right next to the famous tram 28 route, in the heart of Lisbon, but on the other hand, it is very noisy. It was easy to pick up the keys. And the kitchen, bathroom was quite well equipped.

  The apartment looks a bit worse than it does in the photos. It's quite worn. Poor lighting makes it quite dark in the evenings, especially the kitchen. Apartment owner suggests contact via Whatsapp, but his number is not registered in this application. The bathroom sink faucet must be an architect's joke, as its installation makes it difficult to wash hands. Smell of the sewage in bathroom was unbearable. I know it's typical of old buildings, but it smelled like a cesspool. And worst of all, apartment it's noisy. It's is in a great location, but when a tram passes by, you can actually feel the furniture vibrating. When you visit, don't forget to buy earplugs.

  No recomendable para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida. Zona difícil para aparcar. Mucho ruido. Calor y ventiladores en mal estado. El microondas demasiado alto. Plato de ducha muy resbaladiza sin medios antideslizantes. Se echa de menos una repisa en la ducha para dejar el gel de baño. Sofá incómodo y en malas condiciones. Faltan instrucciones para ver televisión, fuimos incapaces de verla. Pocos enchufes en la habitación pequeña.

  I wouldn’t recommend it

  The location was really good

  Firstly, I couldn’t reach the hosts on their phone number at all. Even after I had left several messages I got no reply. They were only reachable by Email, which I tried a few days after I got no response. One of the rooms was in the hallway next to the stairs with no privacy whatsoever. The bathroom has no vent, so it’s really humid and the shower is moldy. Given the humidity the towels never fully dried and our request for new towels was declined. The terrace, which was one of the main reasons we chose the apartment, was so sticky and dirty that we had to clean everything for it to even be usable (it was still very dirty). The bedsheets and pillows had stains on them and we had to clean the kitchen as well. Although the price was relatively low given the location, it does not excuse a dirty apartment and hosts that are not available.
