    We had a very pleasant and enjoyable time overall.

    The breakfast was excellent. The house was comfortable with a fascinating history. The situation was close to the sea and there were extensive grounds to explore. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

    A shower cubicle might have been helpful for older guests. Some extra handles to assist getting into the bath to use the shower would be an added safety feature.

    Short break but long in the memory

    The location, hosts, room (facilities & cleanliness) and breakfast (plenty of choice) were great. The quiet, the closeness to cliff walks were also very important to us
