We had a beautiful stay in Lissadell on the Sea for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Everything about the house and experience exceeded our expectations. The location is stunning, so tranquil and peaceful. Very safe beach for our kids to play on. The house itself has everything you could possible need, with alot of extra touches that elevated it ( voya products throughout the house). I couldn't recommend it enough. You also have access to the grounds which have some beautiful walks and we did the tour in Lissadell House ( complimentary which was appreciated) which is steeped in irish history. Overall a wonderful recharging stay. Helen was also a wonderful host.

Let the world fall away and relax deeply at Lissadell by the Sea.

My favorite thing about Lisaadell on the Sea is the location. You literally walk outside and are in the beach, where you can walk for ages. It’s also close to Sligo town (about 15 minutes) but far enough away to feel like you are a world away. You also have access to walk the Lissadel Estate, which is big and full of beautiful gardens.

The only major downside were the steps. I was traveling with my mum who’s almost 81 and the stairs to go upstairs are quite steep. The stairs down to the door entrance are also quite tall, so something to keep in mind! Would have also appreciated a little more clarity in their very helpful welcome book on how to use appliances and how to handle trash and recycling.
