    Really needs an upgrade so much so I couldn’t stay here

    Only the location however we couldn’t stay as the property was extremely poor

    The property definitely didn’t live up to the reviews! As soon as you enter the damp smell and cigarette smell hits you. The owner had tried to disguise this with a fairly strong plug in, however it is obviously baked into the soft furnishings, and filthy carpet. The bed linen was clean but clearly old, the bed pillows had a very strong damp odour and the mattress cover under the topper was extremely stained! Lots of damage to the kitchen cupboards themselves and the oven/hob obviously hasn’t been cleaned for months, honestly I wouldn’t cook my dogs dinner in it ! The cutlery is rusty and on opening the drawers had another funny musty smell ! To top it all off the plug behind the bed is hanging out the wall and clearly a huge health and safety issue !

    Great location, lovely accommodation, helpful owners

    Owners are just a message away for anything. Very cosy and comfortable with a lot of character. Very close to the main high street.

    Near perfection

    Loved the place, very clean and loved the homely feel with the bears.

    Only one thing was the vanilla air freshener as allergic to them. But that a minor thing in the bigger picture of things. It was the best value for money for a place I’ve ever stayed in.
