    I cannot put into words just how special this place is! We stayed in Little Gem for my partner's birthday and it was just perfect. Sabina and Dave were such warm, generous hosts and really went above and beyond, even decorating the cottage and organising a birthday cake. The setting is unbelievable- 9 acres of lush green land on the edge of the lake- and pictures really don't do it justice. It's the perfect place to unplug, with beautiful grounds and a gorgeous spa. Everything is so beautifully designed and well appointed, and catching the sunset over the lake from the spa was a real highlight. For somewhere that feels so peaceful and secluded, it's also incredibly well located, just minutes from local amenities and a little over an hour from Dublin.

    The only pity is that we didn't book a longer stay, but I suppose we'll just have to keep coming back!

    Amazing!

    We had a lovely stay at this amazing little retreat. Hosts were lovely, facilities, location and comfort excellent. It is just the perfect setting right on the lake surrounded by a beautiful gardens, we had so much fun out on the kayaks then relaxing in the hot tub and sauna that evening. Looking forward to a return visit for a weekend stay next time, Thankyou Sabina and David for sharing your little slice of heaven with us..

    What a GEM!!!

    What can I say? The Little Gem is exactly that, a GEM! Hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, even going so far as to anticipate we were running out of orange juice for our mimosas so brought more without even being asked! The accommodation, the gardens, the spa. . . the pictures really don't do it justice. If you are thinking about staying here, don't think, just book, you won't regret it!

    Honestly, I can't think of a thing to improve, there were little touches everywhere that made our stay so special.
