  Quiet and Blissful.

  Such a beautiful area. Copper and her family are so lucky to live here! Copper provided us with easy instructions over Whatsapp, to find the place and there was no issues for us getting there and quickly getting settled. The views are incredible, with lovely little birds and the soft lowing of cows from neighbouring fields. Copper was also kind enough to greet us with a bottle of wine. The cottage is very cute and cozy with one bedroom, and sofa bed in the living area. As four adults (one couple and two friends) we also made use of one of the yurts in the backyard which made for quite a unique experience. While for the majority of our trip we were very lucky with the weather, this was the one night where it started raining at 7pm and did not stop until long into the following morning. Despite this, we found the inflatable bed quite comfortable and we were cozy and warm while falling asleep to the sound of the rain against the canvas. We used this as our base between visiting Cliff of Kilkee and Doolin, only wishing we had allowed more time to see more of the are. We enjoyed a the fire place in the morning with our cups of tea, before heading off to our next stop (we had a quick breakfast/coffee at Dodi Cafe in Lahinch - highly recommend).

  It would have been nice for there to be a rack/clothes horse in the yurt in order to hang our clothing instead of having to place them on the floor. Although, this may be the Australian in me not liking the idea of any creepy crawlies going into my things and this is something that is not really of a concern in Ireland.

  Private studio attached to a larger home.

  Dog friendly

  We didn’t know we were booking a cottage that was joined to the owners property. It didn’t feel as private as we’d have liked. Some essentials like tea and shampoo would have been really appreciated as the shop is far away.

  En couple avec un chien

  Le logement est spacieux, très calme et niché dans un bel écrin de verdure. Le salon et la literie sont particulièrement confortables. Bien que nous n'ayons pas croisé les hôtes (ce que nous comprenons parfaitement), l'entrée s'est faite sans encombre grâce à des instructions claires, et Copper s'est montré très réactive aux messages.

  le prix nous semble un peu élevé par rapport aux prestations : l’équipement de la cuisine reste rudimentaire et mériterait un meilleur entretien.

  Beautiful place, clean and well laid out. The people who run it are friendly and helpful. Lovely location close to Lahinch, Liscannor etc. Quiet area with lovely views.
