    Would not stay again

    Parking outside

    At 9am on the day of the booking I had not received any check in details, I messaged to ask for details and I then received a call advising me there’s a problem with the property and they would be moving me to a different one. This was frustrating as it makes me wonder when they would’ve decided to tell me about this location change if I hadn’t have messaged first. The different one was a 15 minute drive away from where we originally stayed and is a completely different property, I can see from other reviews this wasn’t a one off. The check in went smoothly with the host providing the check in codes etc however I would say the property we would given (along with not being the one we booked) was of poor quality. Very cheap furniture including bed sheets that are too big for the bed so easily come off from a nights sleep, a strange smell throughout the property, the kitchen was quite dirty as was the sofa, one chair in the living room at the dining table which is quite useless when the property is for 3 of us, no glasses in the cupboard just mugs, 2 half used toilet rolls, loud neighbours, a dodgy front door handle which quite literally is about to fall off which made us very worried that the place wouldn’t even lock when we went out, quite annoying and made us feel unsafe. Overall it was somewhere to sleep but I would not be booking again due to the standard of place and the communication problems, it also wasn’t exactly cheap for £300 for 2 nights I would expect a cleaner standard and much higher quality.

    Absolutely nothing

    I had reserved the property in advance. When the date arrived, the host contacted me to inquire about my expected arrival time and subsequently provided a completely different address. I was furious after my 17-hour journey, as they had misled the customer by advertising an entirely different property. Booking.com should investigate these advertisements before posting them on the website, as they are taking advantage of customers. Then I spent 4 to 5 hours sorting through different properties with Booking.com, but they weren't any help at all. Very, very poor customer service

    COMFORTABLE, GREAT VALUE, QUIET

    Price was good, access easy, location felt safe and had free car park. Large spacious room, very comfortable mattress. All facilities are good from kitchen to bathrooms, the place was in great shape when we arrived. Very quiet street. Would Recommend!!
