    A good value-for-money place to stay in the city centre with real character

    This is a characterful place right by the train station and so a short walk from the busy town centre, and we felt really very comfortable here. The room was clean, there was a generously proportioned bathroom, a very friendly person to welcome us at the improvised reception/bar, and a good breakfast. But what we most enjoyed was the atmosphere of the building: this isn't a run-of-the-mill corporate hotel: someone has given thought to how to use this building with contemporary charm and it absolutely worked on us. Recommended.

    There was nothing we didn't like about Livin Station Hotel in Örebro, though much as the very friendly lady at reception, we were wondering a bit what exactly we were doing in Örebro. But if you want to experience an off-the-beaten-track, fairly authentic small Swedish city, by all means go there and stay at the Livin Station!
