    A great hotel, with the pool closed

    I love the hotel, the location, the fact they have an excellent breakfast and that on Fridays they have clam chowder free for the staying guests. The place is set on a beautiful site with a neat walking trail.

    Sadly, the hotel didn't have their pool and spa available, which was a large part of the reason we chose this hotel. In the future, an email out to the guests booked in advance would help to rebook and avoid confusion.

    Enjoyable stay at a comfy hotel at the far end of town .

    Great views across the river . Good size , clean and comfy room . Easy walk to nice local bar .

    Breakfast was fine but a little basic . Pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay .
