The food at Llys Meddyg was absolutely devine, dinner was so tasty we’re still talking about it.
The room 7 was disappointing as the bed had a 15 cm wooden surround that made the room so much smaller which meant that my wife couldn’t exit the bed on the side due to lack of space. The lighting in the room was so poor that I had to get a lamp from the car in order to read also it needed a light in the alcove where the kettle etc were . The bath water was almost at boiling point.

Beautiful, well designed place to stay with super friendly staff
We had a fabulous stay at Llys Meddyg. Wonderful building- beautifully designed and decorated throughout and amazing outside spaces. Staff were all wonderful and so friendly. Both the Breakfasts and drinks were so delicious. Room was super spacious. Comfy bed with everything we needed in the room. Great location for walks, beaches, historic places of interest and good connections to other key locations along the coast. Lovely town with really nice pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes.
Our room was clean apart from loads and loads of cobwebs on the ceilings and walls. We’d mentioned to staff and asked if room service would be able to remove them when they cleaned. The manager was very apologetic. We understand that it’s spider time of year but there were a lot that looked like they may have been there for some time. On return to the room in the evening, we could see that a couple had been swept out but still lots remaining. Grouting in the shower needs attention too. Not a game changer for us but would liked to have thought that these details would be priority for accommodation of this rating. Everything else very clean apart from that

Nothing.
Besides the food which was both grim and expensive The room was too small for 2 adults. One side of the bed was 3 inches from the wall and so the bed was only accessible from one side. When we spoke to receptionist about the availability of other rooms we were told that the room was “ideally for younger people”. She said that we could have one of the more expensive rooms for 1 night at no extra cost but we would have to return to the original room for the second night. On that basis we didn’t stay a second night and didn’t stop for breakfast. Overall it was hugely disappointing - a place to avoid as far as my wife and I are concerned.
