A Major Disappointment – Strongly Not Recommended! Anyone booking here is in for a nasty surprise. There can be no talk of relaxation or a pleasant stay here. • Location & Accessibility: The accommodation is perched high up on the mountain and is extremely complicated to reach. The surrounding area looks shabby and run-down. Upon arrival, you are immediately punished with a massive number of stairs, which is a real nightmare with heavy luggage. Even during your stay, you need excellent fitness simply to get around—such as walking to restaurants—because you have to climb countless steps. • Room & Atmosphere: The room itself is an imposition. It smells musty, and the furnishings are completely outdated. You certainly wouldn't want to hang your own clothes in the wardrobe. The rooms are extremely noisy, offer zero privacy, and feature outdated, exposed electrical wiring. There is barely any natural light: the room is extremely dark with just a tiny window. It was boldly advertised by the provider as a 'room with a garden view,' but instead we were greeted by the depressing surprise of a blank ivy-covered wall. • Bathroom: The shower and toilet are simply rancid. Outdated, run-down, and partly broken (such as the shower hose). It is completely uninviting for personal hygiene—it is a far cry from the descriptions and photos provided. • Service & Catering: The breakfast offered consisted of dry rusk (Zwieback), instant coffee, and packaged jam—something you can easily skip. To top it all off, the landlady was unfriendly and not accommodating at all. When we pointed out the legitimate defects, she was completely uncooperative regarding a price reduction.
