Hi, I am writing to complain and request a refund for a recent booking. I booked in for a Deluxe Double Room and it was really not to standard. The room was unclean, towels were dirty, curtains were stained, a flashing light in toilet, floor was soaked when you used a shower as there was a gap between shower door and bath. The bed was bumpy and uncomfortable. Pillows and quilt were not to a good standard and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. I have never left a hotel a day early in my life but I felt the room was not suitable for another nights stay meaning I have cut my holiday short and I would like to request a refund for my experiences. The staff at the hotel reception where very helpful and knowledgeable when they were there but it was unstaffed at points meaning I couldn't make the above complaints. I paid £240 for two nights and I am completely unstatisfied by what I have received. I look forward to hearing from you.

Good inexpensive room.
The price was very reasonable and the location is good. You can walk to the Balloch Ferry. Restaurants & bars are close by. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was tiny, and there was no chair. Literally nowhere to sit except on the bed.

Stained room and a mattress where you can feel every spring.
The location is good.
The room isn't in great condition. There are stains on the wall and the makeup stool, and the mattress is quite uncomfortable—it feels like I can feel every single spring through the bed.
