Easy stopover b4 cruise
We used the hotel as a stopover the night before heading onto Southampton to pick up our cruise ship the room was large, the bed very comfy and the bathroom facilities were very good next morning we did not eat breakfast in the hotel but took a very short walk to a retail park where there were a number of places to eat it was then a short drive onto Southampton Excellent value for the money we paid
All good

A perfect place to break your journey.
The Lodge outshines other budget hôtels by a mile (or a kilometre if you're visiting from Europe). The rooms are well thought-out. Comfortable bed, a decent desk space, excellent shower, nice large bath towels. Good wifi. The Lodge adjoins a friendly pub that offers decent food and has a good range of beers served by a helpful landlord and friendly staff. Parking is free and it's secure, with barrier access. Location is also ideal for those travelling to or from the ports of Portsmouth or Southampton. The Lodge is just off the M27, literally a minute or two from the motorway- but quiet!! For the price, this place is a great stop-over.

comfortable stay, beautiful surroundings
The room was very clean, the surroundings were beautiful, we were sat in our room watching Blue Tit parent & fledglings in the trees outside our window, lovely walks surrounding the hotel. Our bet was wonderful & comfy . Thanks for a lovely stay .
