    Lovely quaint cottage in the heart of Castleton, with lots of nooks and crannies, and everything there that we could wish for. Our Jack Russell appreciated the treats jar and there were plenty of places to walk her straight from the cottage, as well as over Mam Tor and Lose Hill. Very good & reasonably priced dining in the Castleton pubs. We only had three days but it felt like a relaxing week away.

    Wonderful quaint cottage in the heart of the peaks

    The location is perfect for wandering around Castleton and visiting the peak district. The cottage is so quaint, each room is beautiful and the decor is wonderful. The hosts are very communicative and give a lot of information. They were also very understanding when we had travel issues. There is off-street parking for 3 cars (jack and jill parking) which is useful in the busy season given its location.

    A perfect place for a luxurious stay in the Peak District with friends

    We loved Lodge Cottage! The house has been tastefully modernised, retaining the charm of the original building. Location is right in the centre of Castleton, with private parking a huge bonus. Beds, bed linen, towels were all immaculate.

    I’m struggling to find anything negative. An additional bin in the kitchen for recycling would have been welcome.
